Born and partially raised in Chicago, Samia was called to ministry at just 15 years old during one of the most difficult times of her childhood—a call that she would come to accept after years of recovering from childhood trauma, running like the Prophet Jonah, and wrestling with God. Though saved at 14, the residue from Samia’s traumatic childhood led to an identity crisis in her early adult life. After hitting rock bottom, she rededicated her life to Jesus at 24 years old. From that day forward, her life has never been the same.​
This book is a clarion call for those who are stuck in tombs of trauma and other dead places to come out. It is for those who have been unknowingly wearing their trauma, failures, and insecurities like graveclothes. Are you ready to come forth and be loosed once and for all?

Prophet Samia Young is known for her powerful testimony and heart for the lost. She is a woman whose faith in Jesus Christ transformed her life, taking her from a troubled past riddled with abuse, crime, and trauma to a powerful story of redemption and purpose. Her training ground? The streets—where she ministered to gang members, drug addicts, and anyone who would listen.
Today, she wears many hats, including attorney, author, minister, and most importantly, disciple of Jesus Christ. Prophet Samia is passionate about prison ministry and currently volunteers at the Cuyahoga County juvenile detention center, where she teaches a biblical curriculum that was designed by the leading of the Holy Spirit. She is also developing a nonprofit to provide transitional housing, counseling, employment assistance, life skills, and more to young women ages18-24 in Ohio, focusing on those who have been formerly incarcerated or in foster care.
